I’m so happy that it’s March and spring is near, but here in the midwest it still feels like winter. I don’t expect spring weather to get here any time soon. That’s why I thought I’d do a blog post today on stying a new dress in my wardrobe for both winter and spring.
A couple of weeks ago I visited a little consignment store near my house called Rosa’s Closet. Although it didn’t have maternity clothes, I knew I would be able to find something that was bump-friendly that I could wear this year before and after the baby comes. I ended up finding this olive green swing dress. This color has always been one of my go-to colors when I want to step away from all the neutral tones I wear. I also thought that the color would be great for March with St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner.

Today I have 2 ways to wear this spring dress when the weather is still cold and 2 ways to wear it after it warms up.
Winter Looks
Outfit #1: Cardigan + Tights + Snakeskin Booties
Outfit #2 Moto Jacket + Tights + Booties + Leopard Clutch
Spring Looks
Outfit #3 Denim Jacket + Leopard Slip-Ons
Outfit #4: Hat + Straw Purse + Peep Toe Mules
I’m excited to wear this dress this year no matter what the weather is like. Follow me on Instagram (HERE) to see more ways I will style this dress throughout the spring.
