It’s Labor Day, which means summer is now coming to an end. I always feel like this time of the year is bittersweet. I love fall and I am excited about cooler weather and getting back into a routine, but I also hate to see the summer go. I know that the cold weather and winter are right around the corner so it’s best to enjoy all the warm days while you can.

I feel like I have so many ideas for fall outfits, but I am not one to jump right into fall fashion just because pumpkin spiced lattes are back. I try to hold onto summer clothes as long as I can. I love the transitional outfits. Incorporating fall colors into my wardrobe while still wearing comfortable clothes for the heat.

Because I haven’t had a chance to take many fall outfit photos yet, I figured that I would do a little round-up of my favorite summer outfits. Some you may have seen on Instagram and some have been stuck on my camera roll on my phone.

I love this floral midi dress I found at J. Crew Factory! It’s so easy to style and I think that it will be great to wear into the fall!

This heart sweater from Amazon is so fun for fall, but I am also looking forward to wearing it for Valentine’s Day! It’s such a comfy everyday sweater. I wore it with shorts, but I am looking forward to styling it for cooler weather!

I love this button-front long sleeve dress from Amazon. I feel like it would make the perfect teacher work dress. It’s so comfortable and I love the button details on the front!

This summer I rediscovered one of my favorite stores… Express! I shopped at Express so much in college. They always had amazing clearance sales and their jeans were my favorite. For some reason I stopped shopping there, but this summer I started back up again. I love a good romper and that’s why this button from navy romper from Amazon has been on repeat in my summer wardrobe. It’s been so hot and humid out lately that a nice lightweight romper like this can go a long way.

Another Amazon dress that I love. This black dress is another easy dress for summer. I love the knot on it and the high neck cut. I am looking forward to styling this dress for the fall!

Before I go, I will share one last Amazon dress. This colorful striped dress is so fun to wear. My wardrobe is full of neutrals, so I felt like adding a big pop of color would be fun! It definitely has a 70’s retro feel to it!
