At the end of every year, I like to reflect on the items I bought throughout the year. Intentional shopping is really important to me, so I like to evaluate which purchases brought the most value to my life—and which ones fell flat. Today, I’m sharing my top 10 best purchases of 2025!

Best Purchases of 2025
When I look back over the past year at the things I’ve bought, I really like to do a deep dive into which items brought me the most value over the last 12 months. Which clothes did I reach for again and again? Which beauty products actually made a difference in my routine? And which purchases truly made my life a little easier? Here are the 10 items I’ve named my best purchases of 2025!
1.) Mother Rambler Ankle Jeans
I’ve been wanting a pair of Mother jeans for years, but I could never quite bring myself to pull the trigger on the price. Because of that, this brand had been sitting on my thrift wishlist for a long time. Last spring, I finally found a pair I loved on Poshmark for $56—significantly less than the retail price.
I bought the Rambler ankle jeans, and they were a bit of a risk since I wasn’t sure how the sizing would run. Thankfully, I got lucky because they fit perfectly. I did have to trim the hem to get the ideal cropped length, but everything else fit exactly how I like my jeans to fit. I wore them constantly this year, and I already know they’ll stay on heavy rotation in 2026 as well.

2.) Madewell Slim Wide-Leg Jeans
Another amazing Poshmark jean find for me was these Madewell slim wide-leg jeans. I wore them constantly in 2025—you honestly couldn’t get me out of them. They fit like they were made for me, which is exactly why I love thrifting so much. I’ve yet to find anything that compares to these jeans anywhere else, not even on the Madewell website. The closest style I can find online is the Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Crop Jean.

3.) Abercrombie NFL Lions Sweatshirt
I bought this NFL Lions sweatshirt from Abercrombie when football season started, and I wore it almost every Sunday. Even though the Lions’ season didn’t go the way I hoped, it’s still one of my favorite sweatshirts. It’s incredibly cozy and soft, and even after washing it a bunch of times, it hasn’t lost its softness at all.

4.) Wit & Wisdom Absolution Black Jeans
I was on the fence about whether or not I should buy these black jeans during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I already owned several pairs of black jeans. I’m so glad I went for it, because they quickly became my favorite pair.
They’re incredibly comfortable. I love the elastic waistband because it helps smooth out my midsection. They have a nice amount of stretch while still maintaining great structure. I was a little nervous about the length since the petite sizes were sold out, so I ordered the regular length instead. It ended up working out perfectly because I was able to trim them to the ideal length for me. Based on my recent experiences with petite sizing, I actually think the petite length would have been a bit too short anyway.

5.) Pursonic Hot Air Blower Brush
Last Christmas, I received a Nordstrom gift card and decided to finally treat myself to a blow-dryer brush. Since I’ve been wearing my hair straight more often, having a tool that gives me an easy, at-home blowout has been amazing. I use it almost every single day, so this purchase has brought a lot of value to my daily routine.
The exact blow-dryer brush I have isn’t currently in stock, but I’ve linked two similar options HERE and HERE.

6.) Quince Leather Woven Crossbody Purse
I have been loving the purses at Quince. I don’t need expensive designer purses, but I do appreciate a good quality leather handbag. This cognac-woven leather crossbody handbag was one that I had been eyeing for a while. I ended up finding it on Poshmark! It has become my everyday go-to purse.

7.) Ninja Blender
After years of being unsatisfied with my blenders, I finally decided it was time to buy a new one. I went with the Ninja BL660 Blender, and it’s been such a great upgrade. I love that it came with two smoothie cups, and the larger blender works almost like a food processor—so it really feels like the best of both worlds.
We use this blender almost every day for smoothies, but I also love using it to make hummus and other bean dips. I reach for it often when blending sauces and soups, too. Overall, this appliance has made my time in the kitchen so much easier. I ended up liking the brand so much that I even asked for a Ninja coffee maker for Christmas, which I’ve been loving as well.

8.) Quince Cropped Cardigan
I spotted this cardigan over the summer and knew I had to add it to my fall wishlist. I’m so glad I did because I’ve worn it nonstop! I included it in both my fall and winter capsule wardrobes, and it’s quickly become such a go-to everyday piece. What I love most is how versatile it is—I can wear it buttoned up, open, or even draped over my shoulders when it’s warmer outside.

9.) La Roche-Posay Double Repair Face Moisturizer
Last February, I added tretinoin to my evening skincare routine. I had been using over-the-counter retinol for a while, but I didn’t realize just how strong prescription tretinoin is. This moisturizer was recommended by the Budget Dermatologist in her YouTube video about how to use retinoid, and I ended up loving it! I have oily skin, and many moisturizers either cause breakouts or irritate my skin—but not this one. It’s amazing!

10.) Quince Bella Stretch Wide-Leg Jeans
This purchase is pretty recent, so I wasn’t sure if I should include it—but judging by how much I’ve already worn these jeans, I know they were worth it! My Bella Stretch Wide-Leg Jeans from Quince have been on heavy rotation in my wardrobe this winter. I also have them in the Relax Straight-Leg and Regular Straight-Leg styles. You can see how I compare all three in my YouTube video here! I’m confident these jeans will get plenty of wear in the year ahead.
