Helping women love what they wear on a budget
Over on Instagram, I did a poll to see if you guys still like to see my real-life everyday outfits and an overwhelming amount of people said yes! I always feel like now that I don’t have a job to go to every day it gets harder to share the actual outfits I wear daily. I often find myself planning my outfits and staging most of them for my Instagram and blog content. I don’t think that there is anything wrong with wanting my content to look pretty, but not everything is always perfect pretty.
As everyone has been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale the last couple of weeks, I have been shopping for look-a-like items from the sale for less. (You can check out all my favorite splurges and saves from my recent post HERE!!) One of my favorite items in the nsale was this neutral-colored cotton midi dress. I loved its style, so I knew I had to find a similar dress for less. I ended up finding this crew neck neutral-colored midi dress on Amazon for $13 less than the Nordstrom dress. I am so happy with my purchase. This dress fits perfectly! It’s true to size (I’m wearing a small) and it hits me at the perfect length, which is not always easy for me when buying midi dresses because I’m only 5’1. Most are either knee length or maxis on me.
Let’s talk about travel outfits today. This is a topic I’ve been wanting to cover for a while. I’ve written posts on travel outfits in the past, but today I wanted to dive deeper into the topic. Last month my husband and I went on a trip together for our anniversary. (Read about it HERE). It had been a while since I had last flown so I went to Pinterest for some travel outfit ideas. I don’t know about you but I got pretty excited when I saw that biker shorts were back in style. As a kid in the early 90’s I loved wearing biker shorts. I had little matching sets with matching skirts. They were the best!

Summer is here and I am feeling very busy lately with life. Nothing major is going on, it’s just keeping up with daily life that is getting me feeling like I don’t have time for very much. Some days it’s difficult just to find time to shower and get ready for the day. I really don’t have much energy to put into thinking about what to wear for the day, that’s why I’ve been keeping my outfits effortless this summer.
