My Top 10 Favorite Finds of 2019

As a girl who loves to shop, I try not to be a shopaholic or a wasteful shopper. I try to be mindful of each purchase I make throughout the year. I keep an ongoing wish list in the notes on my phone to limit the number of impulse buys I make. I also try to be as budget-friendly as I can when I shop. I strive to stay under $50 on each shopping trip or online order and I try to limit the amount of shopping I do. I don’t keep a record of my purchases throughout the year, but I think it’s something that I’m going to do this next coming year. I think it would be nice to see on paper how much I actually spend throughout the year.

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “how to wear” post. The last couple of months have been pretty rough and I’ve just been trying to get through my first trimester of pregnancy as smoothly as possible, but blogging was definitely put on hold. I’m slowly trying to get back into it now. I have to admit that I don’t wear skirts as much as I’d like to. I find it hard to find a place to wear a skirt, but the truth is a skirt can easily be worn casually any day of the week. What is more comfortable than a skirt? I mean it’s literally just as good as not wearing any pants at all…haha.

I love a good clearance sale and my favorite place to find the best clearance deals is Nordstrom Rack. I’m never disappointed with their clearance selections and prices. Finding name brands at affordable prices is my favorite! A couple of weeks ago, I stopped into my local Nordstrom Rack and tried on some really cute things. I had planned on sticking to my shopping list, which a lace bralette was the only thing left on my fall wish list, but when I found this floral BP top I knew I had to have it.

Leopard print is a trend that isn’t going away any time soon. I’ve been wearing leopard print ever since college. It’s always been a fun way for me to liven up my wardrobe. I don’t consider myself to be a super trending person. I like to stick to the basics and not take too big of a fashion risk. That’s why when I wear leopard print, I like to wear it in small doses. Instead of allowing it to take over my entire outfit, I like to add subtle pops of it into my favorite neutral outfits.
