One of my favorite things to do as I browse the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale each year is to find splurge or save items to share. I mentioned in my last post on this sale (HERE) that you don’t need to shop this sale to benefit from it. You can use the sale as your style guide for fall. There’s nothing wrong with a good splurge from time to time, but for me, I’m all about a good save!

One trend that I have had on my radar this spring is gingham. Gingham is a classic print and it’s been around for a long time, but this spring it’s hard to miss! I’ve been seeing gingham print everywhere in dresses, tops, skirts, and more. I have also been seeing it in all sorts of bold bright colors. I think it’s safe to say that gingham is a big trend for spring 2022!

It’s Labor Day, which means summer is now coming to an end. I always feel like this time of the year is bittersweet. I love fall and I am excited about cooler weather and getting back into a routine, but I also hate to see the summer go. I know that the cold weather and winter are right around the corner so it’s best to enjoy all the warm days while you can.
As everyone has been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale the last couple of weeks, I have been shopping for look-a-like items from the sale for less. (You can check out all my favorite splurges and saves from my recent post HERE!!) One of my favorite items in the nsale was this neutral-colored cotton midi dress. I loved its style, so I knew I had to find a similar dress for less. I ended up finding this crew neck neutral-colored midi dress on Amazon for $13 less than the Nordstrom dress. I am so happy with my purchase. This dress fits perfectly! It’s true to size (I’m wearing a small) and it hits me at the perfect length, which is not always easy for me when buying midi dresses because I’m only 5’1. Most are either knee length or maxis on me.
