I shared last week over on Instagram that I want to do a challenge for the month of November. For the entire month of November, I am not going to buy anything new for myself. This includes; Clothes, shoes, and accessories. Because I love to shop and I feel like it would be too difficult for me to completely cut myself off from shopping, I am going to allow myself to shop at only second-hand stores in November. I’m going to use the hashtag #nobuynewnovember when I share my outfits on Instagram and I’d love it if you would join me!

How I Make Money Blogging as a Hobby

I often get asked if I make money from my blog. The answer is yes! I do make money from blogging. Do I make a lot of money from blogging? No! I don’t make anywhere near enough money to consider it an a full-time or even part-time income, but I’m okay with that. The truth is, I never set out to make money from blogging so the little bit of money that I do make from it is just an added bonus. I’m not an expert on making money from blogging because it’s something that is still so new to me. There are so many different ways that bloggers make money and I don’t feel comfortable writing a “how to make money” blog post on the topic. If you want to learn exactly how you can monetize your blog there are a million blog posts out there written about affiliate marketing, sponsored posts, ads, and however else bloggers make money. Just google it! I do want to share my story of how I started a blog as a hobby and turned it into a fun way to make a little extra bonus money on the side.

I believe that anyone can achieve great style. When you have style, you have confidence. It doesn’t mean that you have to have the most expensive or trendy clothes. Style is defined as expressing yourself through what you wear. We all can express ourselves through our clothes. Everyone has their own personal style even if you don’t think you do. Knowing how to work with your own personal style is another thing that sometimes takes time to find.

As a stay at home mom, I wear leggings a lot. When I have no plans to leave the house, I usually stay in my leggings all day long because they are way more comfortable than jeans. I’ve been wanting to step up my leggings for a while and branch out from my normal black leggings. I’ve been eyeing faux leather leggings for a couple years now and last winter I started to really love the look of them, but I was pregnant. I wasn’t going to buy a maternity pair of faux leather leggings and I also didn’t want to buy a pair that I could barely fit into. Baby Update

Anna is now 4 months and I wish I could slow down the days. I’m just trying to take it all in. She’s rolling around everywhere and I know she is wanting to move around, but I’m hoping she will hold off long enough for us to baby proof the house. I love her smiles. She has the sweetest laugh and when she cries it’s like she just got her feelings hurt. I know I’m her mom, but I think she’s the sweetest little girl ever.

I knew going into my pregnancy with Anna that it would be my last. I always knew I only wanted 2 children. I had ideally wanted a boy and a girl, but I always said that I would be happy with whatever God gave me. Before we were married, Kevin and I talked about children. He wanted no less than 1, no more than 2. It was nice to know that we were both on the same page when it came to having a family.
