I have nothing to compare Jack to since he’s my first, but I will say that having a little boy has already saved me money when it comes to shopping. Boys don’t need very much. Whenever I go shopping for Jack, I always get distracted by all the cute little girl clothes. There are so many cute dresses, bows, shoes… I’d have a hard time controlling my spending if I had a little girl. For boys, their clothes are simple…pants, shirts, shorts. The downfall of shopping in the boy’s department is the selection. I can never find the cute things I want in Jack’s size, especially when shopping in the clearance section. Even when buying sippy cups or pacifiers, they never have enough of the boy colors. I guess the stores think that boys don’t need as much as little girls.

I absolutely LOVED my 5 years as a boy mom! My boys are so sweet! But I really had to have that little girl. And the last 4 years being a boy&girl mom has fulfilled me. I'm really girly too and you're right, I buy her way too much but that's ok since she's my last. She's 100% different from my boys and I'm complete now that I have her.

It's so funny to see how different moms and babies are; I grew up with 4 brothers and all I wanted to have was boys. But right now, I have the most adorable baby girl and I love being girly with her! haha. Enjoy all the crazy 🙂

I'd love a girl one day too! It would be great to experience having one of each.

The reason that there's probably less boy colors available in the stores is because you have moms like me that usually buy more "gender neutral" colors so they'll work for all her kids. 😉

I try to keep it gender neutral too. When I registered for my shower, I made sure to get things that would work with a girl too.

Girls are great too! I'd love one of each, but if I get two boys I'd be happy with that too!

I love my boy! I love my girls, too, of course, but you're right about little boys loving their moms. He melts my heart!

I had a girl first and a boy second so I've experienced both worlds. They are definitely different. My little boy is more the sensitive, cuddler, which surprised me, but I'll take it!
