I don’t know about you, but I always feel like Old Navy is at its best in the fall! I love to see all the new trends and styles this time of the year. I also get excited when they bring back some of my favorite staples. Last year I did a fall Old Navy try-on post (Post HERE) and so this year I thought it would be fun to do it again!

Before I shop, I always like to create a wishlist. Shopping with a plan is always the best way to save money and make your purchases more intentional, instead of filling your closet with a bunch of clothes you don’t need or love. Before I make my wishlist I like to get a feel for the clothes first. Old Navy is one of those stores I like to go to in-person and try on as many things as I can. I like to get a feel for the fit and styles before I add anything to my wishlist. I understand that not everyone has the time to make a shopping plan like this and try on everything they like, so that’s why I am going to help you out today. Hopefully, my try-on can help you get a feel for what’s out there and start planning out your wishlist for your fall/winter purchases.
Hopefully, you don’t mind the toddler running around the fitting room causing a ruckus in the background. 😂 It’s always an adventure when you try on clothes with a one-year-old!
(For sizing reference, I find that Old Navy runs big, so I am typically an x-small and a 0 in pants.)
I loved this floral dress. I have been all about the tier dresses this summer, so this really caught my eye. I think it’s very flattering and perfect for covering your midsection. On a side note, I noticed the material seems to be the type that sometimes shrinks on me, so I would probably size up on this dress.
I loved this smocked floral maxi dress. It’s so flattering. I think that this dress would be a beautiful dress if you are planning on taking family pictures this fall.
This puffy sleeve maxi dress was a bust for me. I don’t mind a puffy sleeve with the right material. These sleeves were too stiff. I did like the floral print and neckline on the dress though.
I liked this denim dress, but I didn’t love it. When I go for a chambray dress, I usually look for something that is a little softer. This material was a little stiff. I also thought that the sleeves were too tight. I had to unbutton them to get my arm through it.
This cardigan is a great basic. It is warm, so it would be great for winter.
I really loved this floral print poet blouse It was a nice thin material and I thought it would go with a lot. This one is in a small. I also tried on a pair of straight-legged jeans. I liked this pair a lot. They are high-waisted and have just a little distressing in one leg. They were a little long on me so I needed to roll them at the bottom.
I am so excited about this sweater! I have the tan color sweater from last year and I love it. I wore it so much last winter. I will probably buy another one this year, but I might have to try a different color because my closet is filled with tan sweaters.
I love this color combo for fall. This rust-striped tank top is so cute under a cardigan. I also really love these black jeans. They are almost always on sale for under $25 and they make for the best basic black jeans. They are mid-rise, so if high-rise jeans intimidate you, these are a good rise to try out.
I am loving this look with the plaid shirt. These flannel plaid shirts are so soft and comfortable. I love the gray print because it can be worn with anything.
I also tried the statement top with the skinny jeans. I love this combo. It would be so cute for work. I should also mention the shoes I am wearing. These mules are super comfortable and you know that I am always a fan of a neutral color pair of shoes!
I had to try a shacket. I have been anti-shacket, but lately, they have been growing on me. This one was actually really cute. I do like that a shacket can be practical, so I am going to add it to my fall wishlist. (This jacket is not on the website yet. Once it’s added I will add the link)
Lastly, I will leave you with this lounge look. These leggings are great! They look like joggers but feel like leggings. The x-small was a little too small so I would recommend sizing up to your bigger size on these. I also love this cozy knit leopard top. I have the same top from last year, but I think they made them even softer this year. I love the gray leopard print. It’s perfect for winter.
I don’t know about you, but I have a pretty good idea of what I am going to be adding to my fall/winter wishlist. Hopefully, you got some ideas. I will try to keep you updated on Old Navy sales this fall, so make sure you are following me on the LiketoKnow.itapp to get the latest updates!
