One of my favorite styles of jeans to wear this time of year is cropped wide-leg jeans. They are a fun silhouette to break out in the spring! Today, I want to share with you how to wear cropped wide-leg jeans for spring!

Cropped Wide-Leg Jeans
One of my favorite pairs of cropped wide-leg jeans is my sailor jeans from Target. I love the fit and feel of these jeans. Finding a good wide-leg jean can be hard when you’re on the petite side, but I found the structure of these jeans to be flattering. However, they do run long and don’t come in a petite length, so I customized mine by cutting them to a cropped length—making them the perfect piece for spring!
I originally picked up these jeans in black during the fall and loved how versatile they were. (See how I styled them in my blog post: How to Wear Black Wide-Leg Jeans) So when I saw the lighter wash, I knew they would be the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe. Wide-leg jeans can sometimes feel tricky to style, but with the right pairings, they can be incredibly flattering and easy to wear.
*For sizing reference, I’m 5’1 and 108 lbs. I typically wear a size 0 in pants and xsmall in tops. My shoe size is 7.5.
Outfit 1: Sweater + Wide-leg jeans + Sneakers
This look is both sporty and casual. I styled the white jeans with my gray lightweight sweater, which is one of my favorite tops for spring. My Adidas Sambas are the perfect sneakers to pair with cropped jeans because they are low-profile and narrow through the foot, helping to elongate the legs.

Outfit 2: Denim Jacket + Blouse + Wide-leg jeans + Booties
This floral blouse is the perfect top for spring. I layered my favorite denim jacket from ABLE over it—my go-to layer for the season! The booties make this a great transitional outfit for those colder spring days.

Outfit 3: Chambray shirt + Wide-leg jeans + Slingback flats
A chambray shirt with white denim is one of my favorite combinations for spring! This look is classic and effortlessly stylish. I kept my accessories simple, opting for black, but you could easily add a leopard print belt or shoes to this outfit for a pop of pattern.

Outfit 4: Short-sleeve cardigan + Wide-leg jeans + Ballet flats
This navy short-sleeve cardigan paired with gold metallic ballet flats is simple yet chic! I love the scalloped details on this cardigan—they definitely elevate the style!

Outfit 5: Black tank top + Tan cardigan + Wide-leg jeans + Black Mary Jane flats
I love mixing neutral colors in this outfit. The black tank top and tan cardigan pair beautifully with the white jeans. I completed the look with my black Mary Jane flats, which are a great shoe option for cropped wide-leg jeans!

Outfit 6: Striped top + Tan blazer + Wide-leg jeans + Pumps
This final look is another neutral pairing. I love the polished feel of a blazer, but I also love how this striped puff-sleeve top looks on its own with cropped wide-leg jeans. For shoes, I chose comfortable black-toe pumps—they give me a little height while still keeping me comfortable.
