One of my favorite styles of pants to wear in spring is cropped wide-leg pants. They are cute and versatile. I find them so easy to dress down or up. Today I am sharing my latest pair of pants to show you how to wear cropped wide-leg pants in 6 different ways.

I have a few other pairs of cropped wide-leg pants in my collection, but my most recent addition is the Stretch Twill Cropped Wide-Leg pants from Spanx. Given my love for their faux leather leggings, I was thrilled when Spanx reached out to me about trying these best-selling pants.
Being 5’1″, finding cropped wide-leg pants that fit just right has always been a challenge. I touched base on that a little in my recent blog post What Shoes to Wear Cropped Wide-Leg Pants. I’m on the constant lookout for a pair that hits the sweet spot in length without drowning me in excess fabric around the waist. Thankfully, these Twill pants check both those boxes.
What sets Spanx pants apart for me is their hidden core-shaping technology, which works wonders in smoothing out the midsection. With a pull-on design, there’s no worry about unsightly lumps and bumps from buttons or zippers. Plus, they’re incredibly comfortable, making them versatile for both casual and dressed-up occasions.
Sure, these pants might be a bit pricier compared to others in my wardrobe, but I see them as a worthwhile splurge. Sometimes, achieving the perfect fit requires a bit of a financial investment, but if it’s within your budget, the payoff is worth it. And the versatility of these pants means you’ll get plenty of mileage out of them. Oh, and if you’re interested, I’ve got a discount code: THRIFTYWIFEXSPANX will score you 10% off at checkout.
*For sizing reference, I am 5’1 and I05 lbs. I am wearing an xs/petite length in the pants. Everything fits TTS unless otherwise stated.

For the last outfit, I wanted to go with the navy. I love navy and white together in spring. This navy blouse I bought at LOFT a few years ago and it’s one of my favorites! I added my thrifted J.Crew Factory blazer but kept it casual with a pair of Target slide sandals.
