Happy New Year, everyone! I’m excited to start sharing new content this year. I’ll be taking things slowly this month as I ease back into the groove. To kick off the year here on the blog, I thought I’d start with a post about my best purchases of 2024!

10 Best Purchases of 2024

When putting together this list, I had to think long and hard. I wanted to ensure I included only items that I personally purchased. As an influencer, I receive many gifted clothes, accessories, and beauty products throughout the year. While I often get plenty of use out of those gifted items, for this post, I wanted to focus solely on the intentional purchases I made in 2024.

You might be surprised by my list. Most of my favorite purchases weren’t clothes—and some aren’t even material items! Instead, they’re things that brought value to my life in one way or another. These are the things that made my life a little easier or left me wondering how I ever lived without them.

Here’s my list of the 10 best purchases of 2024!

1.) Ring sizing

I’ve been married for almost 14 years, and my wedding rings have never fit my fingers properly. Over the years, my fingers have gotten even smaller, making the problem worse. I love my wedding and engagement rings—they mean so much to me—and I wear them daily. But recently, I got to the point where I was afraid to wear them, worried they might slip off.

I’m not sure why I let this go on for so long. If I’m honest, the real reason was probably the cost. Spending almost $200 to resize my rings felt like a lot, especially for something I had learned to live with for so many years.

This year, I finally decided to take them to a local jeweler to get them resized. They took the rings down two sizes, and now they fit perfectly! It was the best money I spent on myself all year!

If you’re struggling with the size of your wedding rings, let this be your sign to go ahead and get them resized. Trust me—you won’t regret it!

2.) Adidas Samba Shoes

My Adidas Samba sneakers were hands down the best shoes of 2024! That’s saying a lot because I buy a lot of shoes. This pair got so much wear throughout the year! I’ve included them in several of my capsule wardrobes (HERE and HERE), and they’ve truly become a go-to for me. They’re such a versatile, year-round shoe, and I know many people who bought them after I recommended them—and they all agree they’re fantastic!

I first noticed these shoes catching my eye last January, so I started researching and pricing them out. The tricky thing about the Samba shoes is that they rarely, if ever, go on sale, making it tough to score a deal. I ended up finding my pair on Poshmark—they were brand new, still in the box, and never worn. While I’d love to say I got a bargain buying them secondhand, the final price (with shipping) was about the same as buying them directly from the Adidas website.

That said, I did have some money in my Poshmark account, which helped offset the cost. And honestly, they were worth every penny!

3.) Silicone Muffin Pans

In 2024, I made some healthy lifestyle changes and discovered a newfound love for cooking healthy meals. A lot of the recipes I tried were for muffins—but let me tell you, I hate cleaning muffin tins. It’s the worst!

That’s when I decided to invest in these silicone muffin pans from Amazon, and they’ve been an absolute game changer. They’re so easy to clean, and the muffins pop out effortlessly—no more scraping or scrubbing!

Thanks to these pans, I’ve been able to explore so many new healthy recipes without the dread of cleaning up afterward. If you love baking but hate the mess, I can’t recommend these silicone pans enough!

4.) Thrifted Paige Jeans

My Paige jeans were another fantastic purchase in 2024! I’m always on the hunt for great-fitting jeans, and at 5’1″, finding the perfect pair can be a real challenge. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that when I invest more in my jeans, they tend to fit better. That’s why I love thrifting jeans—it’s a bit of a gamble, especially when shopping online, but when it works out, it’s 100% worth it!

I had been keeping an eye out for a pair of Paige jeans because their denim is so soft, and I love the way they fit. I ended up finding the Cindy High Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans on Poshmark, and they didn’t disappoint! I wore them constantly during the spring and late winter, and they quickly became a wardrobe staple.

Recently, I thrifted a pair of Madewell jeans on Poshmark as well, but I didn’t include them here because I haven’t had the chance to wear them much yet. That said, I can already tell they’re going to get plenty of wear this winter!

5.) No7 Vitamin C Moisturiser

This one is a skincare purchase! I bought the No7 Vitamin C Moisturizer in the spring, and it quickly became one of my favorite products. I love that it’s a combination of Vitamin C and moisturizer, so I can skip the extra step of using a separate Vitamin C serum in my morning skincare routine.

What I enjoy most about this moisturizer is how light and non-greasy it feels. I have oily-prone skin, so I steer clear of products that are too thick or heavy, and this one is absolutely perfect. Even my husband has started using it with me!

I’m also a big fan of the No7 Lift & Luminate night cream—it’s another great addition to my skincare routine.

6.) Madden Girl Sandals

I almost forgot about these gold Madden Girl sandals I bought over the summer! They were my most-worn sandals during the summer of 2024. I took them on one of my cruise vacations, and they became my go-to shoes nearly every day when we left the house.

Not only are they super stylish, but they’re also incredibly comfortable. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can pull them out of my closet and wear them again!

7.) Walmart +

Out of all my subscriptions, Walmart+ is my favorite! I subscribed this summer when it was half off, and it has been a total game changer. Before, I was ordering my groceries online and picking them up at the store for free. While convenient, it became a hassle during the summer with the kids home—I was always running out of something and scrambling to make early-morning trips.

9.) Brooks Running Shoes

At the end of December, I started running. Not a lot—just 1.5 miles about four days a week. I never really thought about investing in actual running shoes until my husband started having knee trouble while running. He bought a pair of Brooks, and his knee issues were gone. So, a few weeks later, I decided to get a pair of Brooks too.

These shoes are amazing for running! When I shared them on Instagram, I had so many people comment about how much they love their Brooks. I wear them every time I run, and after almost a year, they’re still in great shape. I figure investing in good running shoes will help take care of my body in the long run.

10.) Digitel Meat Thermometer

This might sound a little unusual, but honestly, my digital meat thermometer was one of my best purchases of 2024! Since I’ve been cooking more, I’ve been updating a lot of my kitchen tools. I’ve never been great at cooking meat, especially chicken. I would always end up drying it out because I was afraid of undercooking it.

But now, with my digital meat thermometer, I can easily see the target temperatures right on the handle. My chicken turns out perfectly every time, and I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to get one!

I could’ve made this post longer, because I did love a lot of the purchases I made last year, but I will keep it at that for now. I have had some request to do a worse purchases of 2024 posts, so I might do a little round up in my instagram stories next week!
