6 Ways to Style a Black Jumpsuit

It’s no secret that I’ve had a lot going on in the last month or so.  My family and I moved across the country, I quit my job and we moved into a brand new house.  I can’t hide that all these big changes haven’t always been super easy for me.  It’s been a roller coaster of emotions.  I’ve felt excited, stressed, sad and hopeful all at the same time.  When I’m going through all these ups and downs, I often lose my sense of creativity with my outfits.  I get into a rut of wearing the same clothes over and over again in an effort to stay comfortable and happy.

During the craziness of my move, I ordered this casual black jumpsuit (exact- HERE) from Amazon and I am so happy that I did.  This jumpsuit has saved me during the last few weeks.  It’s super comfortable and casual.  It fits perfectly into my new “stay at home” mom wardrobe.  I’ve been trying to not wear it every day since I love it so much, but it’s been hard not to.  The good news is that I’ve found that this jumpsuit can be styled in many different ways.  Today I have 6 easy ways that you can style a casual black jumpsuit.

 Look 1:  This is an easy way to dress up the jumpsuit.  When you pair it with a blazer and heels it could be worn for work or a dressier day occasion.

 Look 2:  Chambray shirts are always a big hit and they are perfect for layering.  I like just knotting it up over the jumpsuit.  It’s great for running errands, especially if you get cold in the grocery store like I do and need to layer up.

 Look 3: This is another way to layer the jumpsuit with a long duster cardigan.  I paired it with wedges to make it into a dressier day look.

 Look 4:  I love using t-shirts to layer with.  I just knotted up this graphic tee and wore it with flip flops, making it the perfect “around the house” lounge outfit.

 Look 5:  This look is probably my favorite way to style my jumpsuit.  You can never go wrong with layering with a denim jacket.
