September Outfit Review- Early Fall

I think it’s safe to say that it’s officially pumpkin season!  As sad as I am to see summer end, I am looking forward to spending my first fall back in Michigan after 4 years of living away.  I love the trees changing colors and the cool air, but this September felt more like a September in Las Vegas than a September in Michigan.  It’s been in the high 80’s here in the midwest and it’s been hard for me to wear all my favorite fall clothes.  That’s okay because I’m well trained for warm falls like this.  I’ve been wearing a lot of lighter clothes and fewer layers, but still trying to incorporate fall colors into my wardrobe.

I turned 35 this September, which I wasn’t super excited about, but I’m over it now.  I guess it’s hard knowing that each year I get a little older and I’m getting closer to my 40’s than I am to my 20’s.  But hey, all I care about is being healthy and happy and guess what?  40 is the new 30!  As always, I love to do some fall shopping around my birthday.  I’ve been planning out my fall shopping list since mid-summer, so I knew exactly what I wanted to buy.  I was so excited about my September finds! It seems like I bought a lot, but really I didn’t pay full price for a single item.  I used super cash at Old Navy, my A+F Club rewards at Abercrombie and Walmart had such great prices that I didn’t even need to use any discounts. On to the outfits!  I’m still trying to document what I wear each day.  Obviously some days I don’t take a picture or I stay in my comfy clothes all day, but when I feel like my outfit is worth documenting I take a quick picture.
