I’ve always loved having a good pair of black jeans to have in my closet. They are so easy to dress up, yet they are still casual because they are denim, not dress pant material. They are an important fall and winter wardrobe staple for me.

This year, I’ve been really into the button fly look on my jeans. I just love how it adds a little detail to your jeans. I also think with the high waist, it can be quite slimming. I went on a hunt to find a pair of black button fly high waisted jeans and ended up getting this pair at Abercrombie (HERE). At first, I was a little disappointed with the jeans. I originally had my eye on this pair (HERE), but they were sold out in my size. The pair I ended up with didn’t have the same stretch that my other Abercrombie jeans have. I decided that I would just return them, but then I started wearing them over and over again and I quickly fell in love with them. I love the buttons and I love that they are cropped. I always like to show a little ankle, even in the winter in Michigan. They have a different look than my other black jeans, so I decided to hold on to them. I’m so glad I did because I’ve been wearing them all the time.
Here are some ways that I’ve been styling my new button fly cropped black jeans.

As I’m sure you know, $50 is usually my top price point when shopping. Abercrombie jeans usually run around $80 or $70, but I never pay full price. Good thing Abercrombie almost always has a sale on their jeans. They also have a rewards program. When you sign up you automatically get $10 off a $50 purchase. You also receive coupons and discounts throughout the year, including your birthday and your anniversary of signing up for their rewards program. It’s a pretty good deal if you ask me!
