As everyone has been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale the last couple of weeks, I have been shopping for look-a-like items from the sale for less. (You can check out all my favorite splurges and saves from my recent post HERE!!) One of my favorite items in the nsale was this neutral-colored cotton midi dress. I loved its style, so I knew I had to find a similar dress for less. I ended up finding this crew neck neutral-colored midi dress on Amazon for $13 less than the Nordstrom dress. I am so happy with my purchase. This dress fits perfectly! It’s true to size (I’m wearing a small) and it hits me at the perfect length, which is not always easy for me when buying midi dresses because I’m only 5’1. Most are either knee length or maxis on me.

I know that a dress like this will stay in my wardrobe for a long time. I also know that I can style this dress in so many fun ways. Lately, I’ve mostly been wearing this dress in a very casual way because that’s just how life is right now for me. Very casual. Today I wanted to show you two easy casual ways that you can style this neutral dress.
Look 1- Sandals and straw hat
This is basically my summer uniform. I wear a dress, straw hat and sandals almost every day. It’s easy and you can wear it pretty much anywhere. I never feel like I’m overdressed up with this look, but I also don’t feel it’s overly causal. It’s just right in the middle, perfect for my life.
Look 2- Baseball cap and sneakers
