Want to know what I think the best part of being a teacher is? No, it’s not having summers off! It’s the dress code! I always feel like teachers have the best dress code! That’s probably why I follow so many teacher accounts on Instagram. It’s business casual, yet you get to be a little more creative than other workplaces. I know that when I was a teacher, I always looked forward to what I was going to wear to work. I always had fun with my outfits.
As a preschool teacher, even though I enjoyed my outfits, I was always getting my clothes messy. I painted with the kids, made slime, played with play-dough, went outside, and even ate 2 meals a day with my class. I never wanted to wear anything that I considered to be too nice or too expensive to work. That’s why I always did most of my teacher clothes shopping at thrift stores. I was always able to find such cute affordable second-hand clothes. It always worked out so well for me because I always had plenty of clothes for work and I never spent more than $10 on anything I bought, which also always helped out with my teacher budget.
Today I want to share a little teacher outfit inspiration. These outfits are all 100% thrifted. Therefore I did not include any shopping links in the post. This is just to give you some teacher outfit inspiration (or really any workwear) so you can look inside your closet to see what you have. Or maybe you will be inspired to thrift shop for your work clothes.
