How to wear brown pants:
Look 1: Cream Cardigan + Brown Pants
I love a cream and brown pairing—these neutral colors never go out of style. The light neutral top helps brighten up the deeper tones of the pants, and the gold accessories and tan belt tie everything together in a soft, cohesive palette.

Look 2: Black and White Stripes + Brown Pants
I’ve always loved pairing black and white stripes with brown. Stripes are a timeless pattern that’s always in style. I like how the black and white gives a classic look, and the brown adds some warmth and makes it feel more laid-back and easy. It’s a combo I keep coming back to.

Look 3: Chambray Shirt + Brown Pants
Chambray is always a great option to pair with neutral colors. I love how the denim looks when styled with a non-denim pair of pants. To pull the look together, I added a black belt and a two-tone shoe. Another fun option would be adding a pop of print with leopard shoes—they’d look so cute with this combo!

Look 4: Navy Cardigan + Brown Pants
Navy and brown are such an underrated color combo. The deep navy gives the outfit an elevated feel, while the warm brown pants keep it from looking too formal. It’s a great pairing if you want something polished but still easy to wear. I finished the look with gold flats—they work as a neutral but also add just a little touch of dressy.

Cool gray with warm brown might seem like an odd match at first, but it really works. The soft contrast creates a casual, laid-back look. I found that adding black—through my belt and the black stripes on my sneakers—really pulled the whole color combo together.

Look 6: Floral Blouse + Brown Pants
I wasn’t sure whether a floral blouse would pair well with these brown pants, but what I discovered is that it’s all about the colors in the blouse. This muted floral top has earthy colors and neutral tones that work perfectly with the brown. I kept my accessories on the warm side to tie the whole outfit together.

Look 7: Olive Green Cardigan + Brown Pants
I’ve always loved olive green and brown together—these earthy tones just work so well. When it came to choosing a belt and shoes, I felt like I could go either way with black or brown. I ended up going with a black belt and gold flats to pull the whole look together.
