Small Shops Holiday Gift Guide

We all know that Black Friday is the big shopping day that falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but the Saturday after Thanksgiving is Small Business Saturday. I always look forward to that day because it’s the best day to find deals at your favorite small shops in your community and online. I love to shop at small businesses because they offer unique gift ideas that other stores don’t have. Your purchases at small shops help keep these businesses thriving and giving back to the community.

Over the last several years I have had the opportunity to discover so many great small businesses because of Instagram. Some of these small shops I have worked with on collaborations or as an ambassador, but others are just businesses that I have found and either love their products, love their mission, or both! Here is a list of small businesses to check out this holiday season!

The Silver Wren

I love the jewelry at The Silver Wren. They sell a variety of beautiful handcrafted jewelry that’s also affordable. I have a beautiful set of layering necklaces from them that I wear all the time with my kid’s initials. Turquoise & Tangerine is a mom-own boutique located in Texas. They sell comfortable, practical clothes that are also stylish. I really love their cute selection of graphic tees. They have a great selection of Christmas t-shirts that would make great gift ideas for a friend, sister, or teacher.

This shop is for the guys because I wanted to include gift ideas for the men in our lives too. Plus, I am a little bias about this small shop because my brother owns it! While stationed in Turkey during his time in the United States Airforce, my brother was introduced to wet shaving. He said it was the best shave he ever had and it lead him to want to learn about it.
