I don’t typically do try-on haul blog posts. I usually save that sort of thing for Instagram and LiketoKnow.it, but I figured since I’ve made 2 recent trips to Old Navy in the last week I might as well share all my finds in a blog post. Especially since I was so excited that they have their fitting rooms opened again!

Baby Update

Anna is 3 months already! That’s a quarter of a year! I can’t believe how fast it’s going, but if I learned one thing from the first time around, it’s that babies grow fast. You have to soak it all in while you can!

This month Anna’s likes are smiling, her big brother, standing up when she’s held, and bath time. Really there’s not much she doesn’t like. So far her only dislike is her car seat. She hates it and cries every time she’s in it unless she’s sleeping. Anna has been getting so active this month. I can tell that we are officially out of the newborn stage. She’s grabbing at everything, eating her hands, and even rolling over. She can roll from tummy to back and back to tummy. It seems pretty early to be that mobile, but she probably can’t wait to keep up with her big brother.

To me, nothing says fall like a little leopard in my outfit. I love adding a pop of leopard here and there. Lately, I’ve been moving beyond my leopard accessories and trying out more leopard clothing pieces. I recently got this leopard long sleeve crew neck t-shirt from Amazon. I always get worried about having too much leopard in my outfit, but I find this shirt to not be as overwhelming with the print as it seems. By adding in different layering pieces you can break down the print if it’s too much. I like that it’s not too heavy, so it’s great to wear in early fall, then as it gets colder it will be nice to layer under my cardigans.Read more

I have to say that I am really loving being a stay-at-home-mom right now. It’s so great being available all the time for my kids and not having to worry about my maternity leave ending soon. It wasn’t an easy adjustment for me at first. I really loved being a working mom too. There are some days where I really miss starting my morning early and heading to work. I loved being a preschool teacher. I loved the kids, I loved my co-workers, but most of all I loved planning out my work outfits.
