Out of all of Kate Middleton’s fabulous looks, my favorite look that she sports is her casual style. I love it when she is dressed down. You can tell that she is most comfortable when she’s dressed in her casual clothes. I find her casual looks to be very basic and easy for me to recreate with my own wardrobe.
It’s no surprise that I’m a huge fan of Kate Middleton’s style. This is not the first post I have done on the Duchess of Cambridge and my love for her classic, effortless fashionable looks. My past Kate Middleton posts have quickly become some of my most visited pages. I’m sure the reason for this is because I’m not the only one out there who just loves this royal style. This week the royal family announced some exciting news that the Duke and Duchess are expecting their second child. I thought that this would be the perfect time to do a celebrity look’s post on Kate Middleton.
Celebrity looks- Jennifer Aniston
I think it’s time for another celebrity to look post. My last celebrity looks post was on Cameron Diaz. For this post, I’d like to feature the style of Jennifer Aniston. I’ve always been a fan of Jennifer Aniston. I was a huge fan of her as Rachel Green on Friends. Even then, I loved her style. She has always had this great fashion sense about her. I love that she is a big Hollywood movie star, yet she always seems to dress so down to earth. Whether she’s on the red carpet, filming a movie or just walking on the street in jeans and a T-shirt, she always knows how to look effortlessly. This is why I love to use her for inspiration when picking out an outfit. It’s actually really easy to recreate her looks. She wears clothes that almost everyone has in their closets.
Here is what I came up with when recreating some Jennifer Aniston looks.
For this first look, she wore a black blazer, white button-down, jeans, and black pumps. Here is what I found in my closet.
Black Blazer- Forever 21
Jeans- Express
Button Down- New York & Company
Shoes- BCBG’s- TJ Maxx
I’m looking forward to summer clothes and this outfit is perfect for that. Jennifer Aniston wore khaki shorts, a grey T-shirt, a brown belt and strappy wedge sandals.
Grey shorts- Old Navy
Grey T-shirt- Target
Brown Belt- Old Navy
Wedge sandals- Kohl’s
This is another simple look to recreate. Jennifer is wearing a black pencil skirt, grey tank top, black sweater, and nude-colored shoes.
Black sweater- Macy’s
Black skirt- Salvation Army
Grey Tank Top- Forever 21
Nude Pumps- Target
Jennifer Aniston is a great celebrity to look to for style inspiration. Her looks are simple and easy to recreate yourself. You should try!
Celebrity Looks- Cameron Diaz
In our culture, celebrities are the trendsetters. They live in the public eye and are always being photographed. Everyone always looks to see what celebrities are wearing. I know that I am always looking to see what celebrities are wearing for inspiration. I can’t copy their looks exactly. They can afford all the expensive designers that I can’t. What I can do is use their looks as a guideline.
My first featured celebrity for this post is… Cameron Diaz. I have always been a fan of her movies and her style. She has a fun wild side, but also a casual laid back look. She’s girly…yet has a tomboy look at times as well. People have always told me that I look like her. I think that’s a reason why I have always gravitated towards her for inspiration.
Here are a few of her looks that I recreated…
My first look was really simple. Cameron wore a black 3/4 sleeve sweater, white cropped pants, black pumps with a fun bracelet to accessorize.
What I found in my closets…
Black sweater- Express
White pants- Target
Black pumps- BCBG’s- Marshall’s
Silver chain bracelet- H&M
I love this casual look. Cameron wore a slouchy sweater, jeans, brown flat boots and a big over size bag.
My closet…

Brown Boots- DSW
For this look Cameron wore peachy pink jeans with a simple white top, beige blazer, strappy heals and a black over size bag. Here is what I found in my closet.

Celebrities can offer some great inspiration when it comes to putting together outfits. I can’t wait to share more of my favorites!
Winter Woes
This winter has been brutal. The dark days, extremely cold temperatures and endless snow cover have definitely gotten to me. It seems to be the same every year about this time, but this year has been harder than others. This weekend I made a decision that I needed to make a change in order to get me out of my winter funk. In the past, my first thought would have been to go have a fun weekend out. Take a trip, head downtown for a nice dinner or perhaps go on a shopping trip. Well, that’s not how I think anymore. I know that spending money won’t make me feel any better about my life. I knew that there were simple actions I could take to get rid of my winter woes.
What’s In Your Closet?
Last weekend I said the phrase that all women say from time to time, “I have nothing to wear”. At that moment I had a strong urge to go shopping. Instead of a shopping trip, I decided to give my closet a second chance. I thought that I would set a challenge for myself. In order to appreciate the clothes that I already own, I decided that this past week, I would put together a new outfit, with old clothes, every day and wear them to work. That’s just what I did.
Shopping Finds~ LC Lauren Conrad
I always get excited when I find a great deal, so I have to share my findings. I usually like to try to hold off until after Christmas to do most of my shopping for myself, but sometimes there are such great deals you can’t pass them up.
