Today is my blogaversary. Yes, that’s a made-up word, but it’s my blog’s birthday and I want to celebrate it! Eight years ago I published my first blog post on Thrifty Wife Happy Life. It had no pictures, no links, and I had no expectations that anyone would actually read it. I had no idea what I was doing. My Everyday Skincare Routine with Maelove
Over the last few years, I have made it a point to make my skincare routine a priority in my life. I used to be the girl who thought a quick makeup wipe before bed was all you needed, but as I got older I realized just how important a good skincare routine can be. I now look forward to my skincare routine every day. It’s a form of self-care for me and it only takes a few minutes out of my day.
Real-Life Stay-At-Home-Mom Outfits- Summer 2021
Over on Instagram, I did a poll to see if you guys still like to see my real-life everyday outfits and an overwhelming amount of people said yes! I loved its style, so I knew I had to find a similar dress for less. I ended up finding this crew neck neutral-colored midi dress on Amazon for $13 less than the Nordstrom dress. I am so happy with my purchase. This dress fits perfectly! It’s true to size (I’m wearing a small) and it hits me at the perfect length, which is not always easy for me when buying midi dresses because I’m only 5’1. Most are either knee length or maxis on me.

Last month my husband and I went on a trip together for our anniversary. (Read about it HERE). It had been a while since I had last flown so I went to Pinterest for some travel outfit ideas. I am not going to lie, I was a little disappointed in what I found.
