Hi Friends! Last week I felt like I needed a little break from blogging. I don’t know why, but I was feeling a little overwhelmed. Normally I get excited to start a new month and plan out all my blog content, but this month I just wasn’t feeling it. I’ve had a lot on my mind and my blog just needed to not be one of the things I was focusing on. Sometimes that’s just what I need. A short break to reset. Happy April! I can’t believe that March has come and gone. March in the Midwest is always a curve ball. You never know if it will start warming up or if you will get a spring snow storm. Affordable Easter Basket Gift Ideas For Young Children

When I was a kid growing up in the ’80s and ’90s, my Easter basket was always filled with lots and lots of candy. We had jelly beans, chocolate eggs, Reese’s peanut butter eggs, Cadbury eggs, and of course a big chocolate bunny that usually took us about a month to eat. Occasionally we would get a little gift in the basket that wasn’t candy, but most years it was all about the sugar. I don’t have a problem with my kids having candy (except for the baby of course), but I do try to limit it when I can. That’s why when I put together my kid’s Easter baskets I try to do more non-candy gifts than candy.
