Fall is here, which means that winter is just around the corner. It’s time for me to start stocking up on warm, cozy clothes. After living in Las Vegas for 4 years, I got rid of a lot of my heavy sweaters and sweatshirts. Now that I’m back in the cold midwest I’m trying to start thinking about the items I might want to have this winter as the weather starts to get cold again.
When
Blooming Jelly asked me if I was interested in doing a collaboration with them, I was pretty excited. I had been sent a couple of items from them earlier in the year and I was very happy with the quality and the affordable prices. I ended up picking out two cozy fall pieces that would be perfect for my new stay-at-home-mom dress code.
The first item is this
fun day contrast color drawstring hoodie sweatshirt. This is perfect for lounging around the house in leggings or wearing jeans on a casual Saturday at the cider mill. I like that it’s long and covers my bottom and it’s also not a heavy material. Even though I want to stay warm, I often get too hot indoors when I’m moving around. The lightweight material also makes it nice to layer under jackets.
The next item I picked out is this cozy up open-front cable knit cardigan. I never wanted a heavy cable knit sweater like this when I was living in Las Vegas, but now that I’m in the midwest, this is perfect. I love the oversized fit and button-up option on the front. It’s great to style over a cami with jeans or a t-shirt with leggings.
