Every season I go through my closet to see what clothes I want to keep and what to get rid of. I also like to see what’s missing, so I can make a wishlist of items to shop for each season. This year as I was going through my summer clothes, I realized that my wardrobe was lacking in cute summer tops to wear with shorts. I have tons of basic tank tops and t-shirts, but I needed something fun that I could wear with shorts this summer.

To splurge or not to splurge, that is the question, or at least that’s a question that I get asked from time to time. Can you splurge on fashion and still have an affordable wardrobe? If your budget allows it then, of course, it’s okay to splurge! Before you make a splurge purchase it’s important to think about the value that the item will hold in your wardrobe. If the value is high, meaning you will wear it all the time in multiple ways and it makes you feel good wearing it, then go for it!

I don’t know about you, but I am excited that the school year is coming to an end. My little guy is just finishing up his first year of kindergarten and it’s so fun to see how much he has learned this year. His school is ending with a few fun events that involve the parents and I am so excited that I get to be a part of them. One event in particular that I am excited about is chaperoning a field trip to the Zoo. That’s why today I thought it would be fun to share some cute mom outfits to wear on a field trip!

In 2021, Instagram announced that they are no longer a photo-sharing app and wants to be thought of as an entertainment-sharing app. This announcement sent many content creators through the roof. For years we have all been trying to create the perfect curated Instagram feed. But now we are supposed to be entertainers and create video content.

To me, one very important wardrobe staple to own is a good bra! I believe that what you wear under your outfit can completely make or break the look. If you feel uncomfortable in the wrong bra or you keep having to adjust yourself throughout the day, you’re not going to love what you are wearing as much. That’s why today I wanted to dedicate my posts to comfortable and affordable bras.
